About Angela Ryczkowski

Angela Ryczkowski is a Plant Addicts garden writer, landscaper, and greenhouse grower with nearly 20 years of experience in the horticultural industry.

Based in USDA Zone 5 in Wisconsin, Angela has also studied or grown plants in desert and subtropical environments. Her professional experience includes both retail greenhouses and large-scale production facilities.

Angela currently works in the landscaping industry, installing and caring for plants and garden beds for homes and businesses. She has also been writing about home and garden topics for nearly 15 years.

Her Approach to Gardening

Angela approaches gardening from the perspective of both a grower and a landscaper. Her experience with greenhouse production, pest management, landscape installation, edible gardening, and sustainable agriculture helps her consider how plants perform from propagation and production through long-term use in home landscapes.

She is especially interested in ecologically minded landscapes, including native and wildlife-friendly plantings, bioswales, edible gardens, and creative solutions for difficult sites such as shaded landscapes.
